NORMAS PARA LA PRESENTACIÓN DE ORIGINALES -  SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

 

1. Descripción:

 

      Los manuscritos que se presenten a la redacción deberán ser trabajos inéditos y que no hayan sido aprobados para su publicación por parte de otras revistas. Asimismo, deberán adecuarse a las 'especificaciones técnicas' que aparecen en esta sección. La calidad de los artículos está garantizada por el proceso de revisión anónima por pares.

 

1. Description

 

      The manuscripts presented must be unpublished works which have not been approved for publication in other journals. They must also fulfil all the requirements indicated in the 'Technical specifications' section. The quality of the papers is guaranteed by means of a process of blind review by two scientific referees.

 

2. Propuesta y aceptación de manuscritos

 

      Los autores deberán enviar los artículos por correo electrónico (amea@unican.es) o por correo postal, siguiendo las instrucción de edición para la propuesta de manuscritos.

      Los autores han de enviar la siguiente información:

• Título del artículo. Subtítulo
• Palabras clave del trabajo presentado (máximo 5 palabras).
• Datos personales de cada autor, que incluya el nombre y apellidos, la categoría académica o profesional, institución u organización, la dirección postal y el correo electrónico.
• Resumen, que no excederá las 200 palabras. 

      Los manuscritos que cumplan con los objetivos de la revista y  los requisitos formales de AMEA, serán sometidos a un proceso anónimo de revisión. El objetivo consiste en que sea evaluada la calidad científica (dos revisores). Los autores serán informados sobre la aceptación de sus trabajos, el rechazo y/o la propuesta de modificaciones antes de seis meses después de su recepción.

 

2. Submission and acceptance of manuscripts

          Papers should be sent by e-mail or by postal, following the guidelines indicated for the submission of manuscripts by authors.

          Authors have to send the following information

• Title of the paper. Subtitle.
• Key words of the manuscript presented (maximum 5 words)
• Personal data of each author including name, professional category or position, institution or organisation, postal address and e-mail.
• Abstract, which is to be no longer than 200 words.  

The manuscripts submitted which are in line with the aims of the journal and the guidelines of AMEA will be submitted to a  blind review process. The objective is to assess the scientific quality (two referees). Authors will be informed of the acceptance, rejection and/or modifications required no later than six months after the receipt of the manuscript.

3. Galeradas

 

      Las pruebas serán enviadas a los autores en formato .pdf via e-mail y los autores dispondrán de 12 días para corregir las pruebas desde la fecha de su recepción y devolverlas a los editores

 

Los autores recibirán gratuitamente un total de 5 revistas, que les serán enviadas a su dirección postal.

 

3. Proofs

 

     Proofs will be sent as a PDF file to the author by e-mail. The corrected proofs must be returned by e-mail to the Editors of AMEA whithin 12 days of receipt.

 

The authors will be sent a total of 5 free reprints, which will be sent the postal address of the author.

 

 

4. Estilo y especificaciones técnicas

 

A. ARTÍCULOS

• Los manuscritos se enviarán en un formato reconocible para Microsoft Word (.doc) o en cualquier de sus versiones para Windows.
• Extensión: la extensión máxima de los manuscritos será de 23 página a doble espacio (aproximadamente 7000 palabras), incluyendo el resumen, las notas y las imágenes,
• Tamaño: DIN A4 (29 cm by 21 cm).
• Idiomas: las lenguas de la revista son español, inglés, francés, holandés y portugués.
• Márgenes, 3 cm: arriba, abajo, izquierda y derecha.
• Fuente: Times New Roman 12.
• El doble espacio debe sólo utilizarse para el texto principal, las notas a pie de página llevarán espacio sencillos.
• Las notas a pie de página irán numeradas según su orden de aparición en el texto.
• Los autores deberán indicar la ubicación de las ilustraciones (imágenes o gráficos).
• Todos el aparato gráfico deberá denominarse, genéricamente, ilustraciones y han de ir numeradas correlativamente y con su título centrado en la parte inferior.
• Las imágenes en blanco y negro deberán tener una calidad de resolución de al menos 300ppp.

 

4. Style and technical specifications

 

A. ARTICLES

• Manuscripts should be sent in a format that is recognisable to Microsoft Word (.doc) in any of its versions for Windows
• Lenght: the maximum length of manuscripts is 23 double-spaced pages (approximately 7000 words) including the abstract, references and images.
• Size: DIN A4 (29 cm by 21 cm).
• Languages: The languages of the journal are Spanish, English, French, Dutch and Portuguese. 
• Margins, 3 cm: top, bottom, left, and right.
• Font: Times New Roman, normal style, 12-point type.
• Double spacing should be used for all the paper except for the references which are to be single-spaced.
• Notes, when necessary, are to be placed at the end of the paper and numbered in their order of appearance in the text.
• Illustrations (images, graphics...) are to be inserted in the appropriate point in the text.
• All illustrations will be denominated generically Figures and are to be numbered consecutively using Arabic numerals with the title centred at the bottom.
• Images must be in black and white with a quality of at least 300 ppp.

     B. RECENSIONES DE LIBROS 

    1.Extensión máxima de 4 páginas a doble espacio.

   

   2.El texto irá precedido de los datos de la publicación: v.g. BOIS, G. La gran depresión medieval: siglos XIV-XV. El precedente de una  crisis sistemática. Madrid, Universidad de  Valencia, 2003.

   

    3. El autor firmará la recensión al final del texto.
